Capable of up to 32 GB of total switching bandwidth, the plug-and-play DGS-1016C supports the Energy Efficient Ethernet standard, which is designed to adjust power consumption depending on Ethernet traffic levels and cable lengths. Quality of service (QoS) helps to smooth the flow of latency-sensitive traffic, such as video streaming and VoIP calls.
