The Cisco Aironet wireless access point (MPN: AIR-LAP1131AG-A-K9) is designed to provide Wi-Fi connection and support to offices that need wireless connectivity. The Cisco Aironet works in conjunction with a Cisco wireless access controller to provider network support to the devices connected wirelessly. The Cisco Aironet V5 supports both wireless radios a, b, and g. These two radios provide bandwidth of up to 108 Mbps.

The AIR-LAP1131AG-A-K9 can be powered by IEEE 802.3af power over Ethernet or through a provided power supply. The Aironet V5 provides advanced  security features such as WEP, WPA, and WPA2 security.
