The Cisco Catalyst 2960X-48LPD-L is an excellent option for large-scale network expansions in growing operations with significant existing network demands. This Gigabit-class Layer 2 Ethernet switch brings 48 ports, with PoE+ support up to 370W, backed by two 10-Gigabit SFP+ uplinks.
The WS-C2960X-48LPD-L is future-focused, and ready for expansion. It supports Cisco's proprietary FlexStack-Plus system for simple plug-and-play switch stacking. Up to eight Catalyst switches can be connected into a single logical unit, with a combined maximum throughput of 80Gbps.
The Cisco 2960X line is also designed to minimize its TCO by reducing both the deployment and maintenance time needed for operation. Once installed and configured, a Cisco 2960X has a range of automated services, including power optimizations, smart packet routing, and proactive diagnostic services. A WS-C2960X-48LPD-L will require very little attention once installed.
Your administrator has a choice of a traditional Command Line Interface, or Cisco IOS GUI, allowing web-based administration that's simple enough for virtually any user. The Cisco 2960X will work alongside your admin, giving them all the information they need automatically.
