The PSL-SH-1270 from Power Sonic is a 12.8V 7.2Ah high rate lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery. Power Sonic LiFePO4 batteries last up to 10 times longer than typical lead acid batteries while delivering more power at only 40% of the weight. With high efficiency, ultra-fast charging and higher discharging capabilities the PSL-SH-1270 is an ideal solution for industrial applications where a long service life and quick charging is needed, or for outdoor uses where weight and space is at a premium.
Protection Circuit Module
The PSL-SH-1270 comes with a protection circuit module (PCM) that monitors current and voltages during charge and discharge. This protects the battery from over-charge and over-discharge. The PCM includes a balancing circuit that controls all cell voltages in the battery, making sure they are constantly at the same voltage level, optimizing battery capacity.
